In May 2018 members ratified a three-year contract with the following terms:

1. Contract period: 6/1/18 - 6/30/2021

2. Salary increases: Effective July 1 of each year, a minimum 2% increase compounded, or $575 per year (prorated at $.32/hour), whichever is greater

3. Health care premiums: The employee contribution to the health insurance premium will remain at 19% of the applicable premium for the duration of the contract

Salary Increase for RF Field Unit Members

The annual salary increase for Research Foundation field unit members went into effect on July 1. The PSC represents Research Foundation employees at City Tech, the Graduate Center and LaGuardia. On July 1 these members received a minimum salary increase of 2 percent or $575/year ($0.32/hour) whichever is greater. Members will see the increase in their July 17th paycheck covering the period from July 1 to July 5.

RF Members Successfully Petition Management to Implement Contract

PSC Research Foundation activists at City Tech, LaGuardia and the Graduate Center organized a petition campaign in less than a week and ensured that they and their colleagues would receive their pay increases on time. Members ratified a new three-year contract on May 29 with salary increases effective July, 1, 2018. As of June 27 the RF Board of Directors had not approved the contract.

Members have voted overwhelmingly to ratify a successor collective bargaining agreement. This Memorandum of Agreement contains the terms. The RF Board of Trustees voted to approve the Memorandum of Agreement on Sept. 22, 2021.
