On May 1st, International Workers Day, join the Amazon Labor Union, NY Immigration Coalition, Make the Road, NYC Central Labor Council, RWDSU, PSC and dozens more community-based organizations, immigrant rights groups, unions, and allies as we take to the streets of New York City to demand worker protections and a full pathway to citizenship in the United States. Meet up at 12:00 noon at Washington Square Park for a May Day rally and march to insist Congress act!

We’re teaming up with United University Professions and CUNY Rising Alliance, a growing student-community-labor coalition, for a massive march from Brooklyn Borough Hall across the Brooklyn Bridge to Foley Square. The State Senate and Assembly will vote on their “one-house budgets,” their responses to the governor’s budget proposal, just days after this March 6 show of strength. So, we need you—and your family—there to demonstrate still rising support for #NewDeal4CUNY and to push the Legislature to go #Allin4SUNYCUNY.

Join PSC members and allies as we rally at campuses starting on the first day of the semester at Bronx Community College and Medgar Evers College. We will call for accountability for health and safety and for no class cancellations or layoffs, not only at these colleges, but across the whole university.
